And here is the Sauber-Ferrari C36!

Sauber has kicked off the 2017 F1 presentation schedule by unveiling its Ferrari-powered C36 which also commemorates the Swiss outfit’s 25 years in Formula 1.

The 2017-spec contender, which will be raced this year by Marcus Ericsson and Pascal Wehrlein, is offered in a blue and white livery with gold trimmings.

While Williams’ contender looks a bit underwhelming on the surface, the Sauber includes a more prominent sense of sophistication which is perhaps a reflection of the Swiss outfit’s ambitions.

Standing out at first glance is the creased rear wing as well as an angled wing-mount, the return of the shark-fin (elegantly minimized in black to emphasize the shap of the rest of the car), more complex and aerodynamically-shaped bargeboards, and the expected presence of the thumb nose.

All in all, a very smart looking race car.
