Becky Lynch Hospitalized, Next SmackDown Women's Title Match Revealed

As seen at the WWE No Mercy pay-per-view on Sunday night, SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch did not defend her title against Alexa Bliss as scheduled.

As we reported throughout the week, Lynch was dealing with an injury / health issue that prevented her from being able to compete inside the squared circle.

Lynch took to social media on Sunday evening and posted a photo of herself in the hospital (see below) along with a message to her fans, before pointing out that she was closely watching the women’s matches at the pay-per-view on Sunday night.

“Thank you all for the thoughts,” Lynch wrote on Twitter. “I promise I’ll do everything I can to get back ASAP and defend my title… I’m watching closely tonight.”

The next SmackDown Women’s Championship match will, in fact, be Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss, and it is scheduled to take place at the SmackDown Live event on Tuesday, November 8th in Glasgow, Scotland.
