Brest have multiplied their meetings with Tavenot, who Lorenzi believes will have no issue in slotting into the structure at Brest. However, in parallel with those meetings, Brest have intensified their pursuit of Beye, currently manager of National 1 side Red Star. Both candidates know each other having done part of their courses together.

Beye is thought to be the priority for Brest. It is expected that the next few days at the Ligue 1 club will be “intense” report L’Équipe, with the club hoping to make an appointment before the return of the season on 28th December.
