Career vs. Title Match Confirmed For WWE No Mercy PPV In October

Well, “The Show Off” will be getting one more crack at The Miz and the WWE Intercontinental Championship at the next SmackDown Live exclusive pay-per-view event, but he’s rolling the dice in doing so.

On Tuesday night’s edition of SmackDown Live in The Miz’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, Ziggler interrupted the I-C champion’s homecoming celebration. The in-ring confrontation led to the two agreeing to compete in a special “Career vs. Title” match at the upcoming WWE No Mercy pay-per-view in October.

The match, which was confirmed for the PPV after the segment by SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan, will either see Ziggler finally capture the I-C title from The Miz, or he will have to retire from WWE.
