Premier League side Crystal Palace have made a last-gasp offer to Claudio Ranieri, who had provisionally agreed a contract to become the new manager of FC Nantes, according to L’Équipe.

Sources at Nantes remain convinced that Ranieri will keep his word and join Les Canaris, but as of last night, nothing was signed.
