The gain from last week’s Smackdown episode was erased this week, as Thursday’s Smackdown fell more than one-tenth of a rating. The show narrowly avoided being the lowest-rated of the season.

— October 29: Thursday’s show scored a 1.50 rating, down from a season-high 1.62 rating last week.
The previous season low was a 1.49 rating on September 17.
Smackdown drew 2.171 million viewers, only slightly down from 2.204 million viewers last week.
– In the key demographics, Smackdown was hit hard among younger viewers – males 18-34 fell one-tenth of a rating to a one-month low. Adults & males 18-49 were steady, though.
– Overall on Thursday nights this year, Smackdown has averaged a 1.74 rating and 2.419 million viewers.
The 2015 average remains well below the same period last year on Friday nights – 1.90 rating and 2.669 million viewers.
