One of the favourites for the Leinster Schools Cup put out a strong statement today

CLONGOWES WOOD COLLEGE, one of the favourites to lift this year’s Leinster Senior Cup, put out a strong statement today, as they beat Castleknock College 70-8 in the First Round encounter at Donnybrook.

A hat-trick of tries from both Colm Mulcahy and Will Connors helped an impressive Clongowes outfit run riot against their below-par opponents.

With other highly-fancied sides including Blackrock and St Michael’s picking up wins over the past week, the competition looks set to intensify as it approaches its latter stages.
