As reported by Foot Mercato, the agent of Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembélé, Moussa Sissoko, has spoken to PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi in recent hours over the soon-to-be free agent joining Paris this summer.
Although Dembélé is keen to stay at Barcelona next season, the La Liga club are as yet unable to meet his financial demands, meaning a departure is being strongly considered. PSG had a verbal agreement with the 25-year-old in January and the club is aiming to convince the Frenchman to sign on at the end of his deal in Spain, buoyed by the decision of Kylian Mbappé to sign a new deal in Paris.
The fact that Al-Khelaïfi has taken over talks with the player gives further weight to reports that sporting director Leonardo is expected to leave the club soon. Bayern Munich are also in talks with the player.
