As reported by Foot Mercato, AS Monaco are close to signing young midfielder Mamadou Coulibaly on a professional deal.
The 18-year-old France under 17 international’s youth deal at Stade Louis II is up this summer and Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen, Atlético Madrid, AC Milan, and Manchester City are all looking at the player, say the outfit.
However, Coulibaly has been convinced to sign a new deal by club sporting director Paul Mitchell’s plan to promote and integrate younger players in the first team going forward. The teenager has scored ten goals and added six assists for the under 19 team this season.
