RMC report this evening that Arsenal have squarely turned their attention to attempting to sign AS Monaco attacking midfielder Thomas Lemar this month with Alexis Sanchez’s departure to Manchester City seeming increasingly likely.

Mohamed Bouhafsi confirms that the Citizens have put 2 offers on the table for Alexis Sanchez, one for this month and one for the summer.

Arsenal are visibly feeling the pressure, and have turned towards Thomas Lemar. Having already tried for the French international last summer, the report indicates that they are ready to do so again. Sources at Monaco indicate that the player has no gentleman’s agreement with the club that would allow him to leave this month.

However, Bouhafsi says that an offer of €70m, minimum, could be enough to get the ball rolling.
