Ligue 1 side Rennes have confirmed the signing of French attacking midfielder Morgan Amalfitano on a 2.5 year contract.
Lille enabled the player to reach a mutual termination agreement on the final day of the transfer window so that he could join SRFC for free.
The 31 year old has already played 17 Ligue 1 matches this season, starting 8 of them.
