India Ready To Welcome Rafale Jets, Defence Minister & Air Chief Marshal To Receive Them Next Month

The first rafale jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will reach the country in September.

PTI, quoting government sources reported that Defence minister Rajnath Singh and Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa are set to travel to Paris next month to receive the first of 36 Rafale fighter jets for the IAF.

The report said that the handing over ceremony is likely to happen on September 20 in the presence of senior officials of the Dassault Aviation, the makers of Rafale and top military brass of France.
