Raw numbers dropped only three percent from last week’s three-month high for the show coming off Battleground.
Raw averaged 3.06 million viewers, making it the most-watched show on cable television, beating Rachel Meadow on MSNBC at 2.91 million viewers, and beating everything except ABC, CBS, and NBC.
This is the third straight week that Raw has averaged at least three million viewers, which is the first time that’s happened since April.
The show started strong, beating last week’s first hour, but fell slightly in the second hour, which is unusual in the summer, and had the usual third hour drop, although at seven percent, it wasn’t as bad a drop as in many cases.
The strongest audience retention in the third hour was with teenage boys.
The three hours were:
8 p.m. 3.16 million viewers
9 p.m. 3.13 million viewers
10 p.m. 2.92 million viewers
