New Matches for TLC, Enzo Lands New Gig, Hawkins Returning Soon

WWE is still putting together the card for the upcoming Survivor Series event, but after that show takes place later on this month, their next pay-per-view is scheduled to be the Tables, Ladders, & Chairs event. Although no matches have been confirmed for the event by WWE, the SAP Center’s website is now advertising a match between Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin. The arena hosting TLC previously advertised a Braun Strowman vs. Drew McIntyre match, but that appears to have changed. The website is also still advertising a TLC match Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship, as well as an Intercontinental Championship match between former Shield allies, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
Although Enzo Amore is no longer competing in the ring, he is still active in the entertainment industry and is currently in the process of launching a career as a rapper Enzo has continue to make appearances at a few independent shows in an non-wrestling capacity, and he has also released his first few hip hop songs over the past few months. The former Cruiserweight Champion was let go from WWE at the beginning of the year, and several month later, he has just landed his first post-wrestling gig. On Wednesday, Amore announced on Twitter that he will be performing at Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles, California. Enzo is promising to put on a “no holds barred” musical performance, but the event is still open to all ages.

There is currently a large number of competitors in WWE who have gone down with serious injuries. WWE has reportedly had to reshuffle some of their plans due to some of the unexpected injuries, but it appears now that one WWE Superstar is just about ready to come back to the ring. Raw Superstar Curt Hawkins has been out with a hernia for a number of weeks, but according to PWInsider, Hawkins has either already been cleared to make his in-ring return or he is expected to receive clearance very soon. Following over 200 losses in a row, Hawkins was on the hunt for his first WWE win in years before getting hurt. Perhaps Hawkins can finally make a comeback and get that huge win once he is able to return.
