Daniel Bryan, Dana Brooke qualify for WWE Money in the Bank

Two more wrestlers have qualified for this year’s Money in the Bank ladder matches.

On SmackDown tonight, Daniel Bryan became the first wrestler to qualify for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Bryan submitted Cesaro with the Yes Lock in their qualifying match while Drew Gulak stopped Shinsuke Nakamura from Interfering.

Dana Brooke also defeated Naomi tonight to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. She pinned Naomi with a sunset flip after Naomi missed a split-legged moonsault.

Each Money in the Bank ladder match will feature six wrestlers, with three coming from Raw and three coming from SmackDown. Bryan and Brooke are the first two wrestlers to qualify from SmackDown.

Raw’s Shayna Baszler, Asuka, and Nia Jax have qualified for the women’s ladder match.

Three qualifying matches have been announced for Monday’s Raw: Rey Mysterio vs. Murphy, Aleister Black vs. Austin Theory, and Apollo Crews vs. MVP.

Two qualifying matches are set for next week’s SmackDown: Gulak vs. Baron Corbin and Sasha Banks vs. Lacey Evans.

Money in the Bank is set for Sunday, May 10. It was announced tonight that both Money in the Bank ladder matches are taking place at WWE headquarters.
