Footballer Djibril Cissé is set to be indicted in the Mathieu Valbuena sextape blackmail affair, after the Versailles court accepted a demand on the part of the prosecution to push ahead with a full scale investigation into the former Liverpool and SC Bastia player, according to RMC.

The former French international striker appears to be set to be charged with complicity in the act of blackmail, the same offence levelled at Karim Benzema. The court has yet to officially confirm this decision.
