Lorient started the season off with a “bang” and initially looked like the team to challenge PSG in Ligue 1. The Brittany-based club has since fallen out of that discussion but has still captured the hearts of Ligue 1 supporters with brilliant attacking football and In terms of talent, the French club has a plethora of young players who could be on the verge of making moves to other Ligue 1 teams or abroad.

One of the players is Nigerian striker Terem Moffi. According to Foot Mercato, the forward has already attracted offers from Southampton for around 10 million Euros which was refused by Lorient. The club knowing the left-footed forward’s value expects a higher offer to let him leave the club.
According to reports from Mohammed Toubache-Ter, the Nigerian international has 2 offers on the table from Premier League clubs. One of them presumably from Southampton and the other still unknown. Per the report, the offers were for 15 million and 17 million Euros, but the Ligue 1 club is looking for an offer of around 30 million Euros.
Foot Mercato claims the Nigerian international wants to leave Lorient but will not force a move. Moffi has been one of the best forwards in the league and with plenty of time left in the transfer window, more offers may come in for the striker.
