— On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer suggested that the match between Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns may not necessarily be for the #1 contender. Instead, Meltzer speculates that another match of some sort will take place on TV between now and SummerSlam which Reigns will win before moving onto face Lesnar.

— However with Lashley defeating Reigns last night, it logically sets up Lashley as a future #1 contender or at least someone who is going to be a challenger for the title whenever that occurs.

— As of earlier this afternoon, neither Brock Lesnar nor Paul Heyman were seen backstage at Raw. This doesn’t mean that they won’t be on the show as they could always show up immediately before the show goes on the air just that they haven’t been spotted thus far.
