We have a brand new NWA World Women’s Champion.
Earlier this week it was reported that 21-year wrestling veteran and two-time WWE Women’s Champion Jazz was forced to vacate the title due to injury, unfortunately ending her historic title reign at an impressive 948 days.
It was decided that a new champion would be crowned at Saturday night’s NWA Crockett Cup event in Concord, North Carolina in a match between Jazz’s original challenger Allysin Kay (aka Sienna), and the last-minute replacement of Santana Garrett.
After a great back-and-forth match between the two stars, it was Kay who walked away with the victory, adding the prestigious NWA World Women’s Championship to her resume that already includes the SHINE Championship and two reigns as Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion.
