New Japan G1 Climax Finale – Title Match Results
On the final show of the G1 Climax tournament, New Japan presented two title matches featuring ROH roster members…
– Jay Lethal retained the ROH World Title over Satoshi Kojima in the sixth of nine matches on the show.
Lethal used a mule kick out of the referee’s vision to set up Lethal Injection on Kojima for the pin and the win.
– In the previous match, The Briscoes retained the IWGP World Tag Titles against Bullet Club’s Hangman Page & Yujiro Takahashi.
This was the Briscoes’s first Tag Title defense after capturing the titles from Bullet Club’s Guerrillas of Destiny at the “Dominion” PPV in June.
