NJPW/ ROH Honor Rising Night Two Results (2/24): Tokyo, Japan

Just recently, night two of NJPW’s & ROH’s co-promotional Honor Rising PPV Event took place. The main event saw Ibushi & Omega defeat Scurll & Cody with Scurll taking the pinfall. The event also saw The Young Bucks declaring that they are no longer Junior Heavyweights then they teased a match against Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi after Omega said the The Golden Lovers were the best tag team in the world.

– The Beer City Bruiser def. Henare.

– David Finlay, Juice Robinson & Jay Lethal def. Hikuleo (Formerly Leo Tonga), Chase Owens & Yujiro Takahashi.
– BUSHI & Hiromu Takahashi def. Ryusuke Taguchi & Flip Gordon.
– Tanga Loa, Tama Tonga & Bad Luck Fale successfully retained their NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Titles over Cheeseburger, Delirious & Jushin Thunder Liger.
– The Young Bucks & Hangman Page def. Chuckie T, YOSHI-HASHI & Jay White.

– Dalton Castle successfully retained his ROH World Title against Beretta & The Beer City Bruiser.
– Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega def. Marty Scurll & Cody.
After the show, Omega reiterated that he and Ibushi were going to change the world. He also said that Cody will not manipulate the team and his behavior is that of a WWE reject. The two will meet one-on-one at ROH’s Supercard of Honor XII PPV Event in New Orleans on April 7.

NJPW’s next event will be their 46th Anniversary Show that will feature IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada facing IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay in a Non-Title Showdown.
