According to RMC Sport, Leipzig’s French right-back Nordi Mukiele (24) is in Paris tonight undergoing his medical with Paris Saint-Germain, with whom he has reportedly agreed terms. Fabrizio Romano has corroborated these reports, adding that the final details will be completed tomorrow.
While Chelsea had attempted to hijack the deal between the East German side and PSG by offering to return Timo Werner as part of an exchange, Romano reports that the deal had already been wrapped up with the French champions.
Should his medical go smoothly, the 24-year-old is likely to sign a five-year deal with PSG, who will part with up to €16m with bonuses to acquire the right-back. This follows the departure of right-back Colin Dagba (23), who has joined Strasbourg on loan for the coming season.

Mukiele, who was born in the Parisian suburb of Montreuil and played with the Paris FC youth teams between the ages of seven and sixteen, now looks set to return to his city of birth, and to Ligue 1, where he last played with Montpellier in the 2017/18 season.
