According to today’s edition of L’Équipe, Norwich are set to allow Youssouf Mulumbu to join Marseille for free, with the player in advanced negotiations with the Ligue 1 side.
The former PSG man was not Marseille manager Franck Passi’s first choice, but after talks broke down with Carlos Sanchez and Jordan Veretout, OM are now moving for Mulumbu in a big way.
Mulumbu’s representatives are due in Marseille this weekend in an attempt to find a contractual agreement.
Negotiations are ongoing over a four year contract and a definitive agreement could be reached as early as the beginning of next week.
