1968 – Ronnie Etchison & Sonny Myers defeated Bob Geigel & Bob Brown in three falls in Kansas City, Kansas.
1974 – Jimmy & Johnny Valiant defeated Dean Ho & Tony Garea for the WWWF Tag Team Title in Hamburg, Pennsylvania; Antonio Inoki defeated Killer Karl Krupp and Seiji Sakaguchi to win the 1st Annual New Japan Pro Wrestling World League. Inoki, Krupp and Sakaguchi had all tied each other in the round robin portion of the tournament; At Memorial Hall in Kansas City, World Tag Team Champions Lord Alfred Hayes & Bob Brown defeated The Interns (w/ Dr. Ken Ramey).
1984 – Ivan Koloff & Don Kernolde defeated NWA World Tag Team Champions Wahoo McDaniel & Mark Youngblood to win the titles in Raleigh, NC.
1985 – At the Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA; Sgt. Slaughter & Larry Hennig & Curt Hennig beat Road Warriors & Paul Ellering in a Steel Cage match. Also in a Cage Match, Jerry Blackwell beat Sheik Adnan.
1988 – Kerry Von Erich defeated Iceman King Parsons in Irving, Texas to win the World Class Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Title; Tatsumi Fujinami defeated Big Van Vader for the IWGP Heavyweight Title in Tokyo, Japan.
1993 – Wolfie D defeated Danny Davis in Memphis, Tennessee to win the USWA Middleweight Title,
2000 – Chris Benoit defeated Chris Jericho for the WWF Intercontinental Title in Uniondale, New York
2002 – Tom Howard defeated Christopher Daniels in Santa Ana, California to win the Ultimate Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Title.
2007 – At a Smackdown taping in Pittsburgh, PA; Edge cashed in the Money in the Bank title shot and defeated the Undertaker to win the World Title. Undertaker had just defeated Batista in a steel cage match.
2010 – At the ROH Supercard of Honor show in New York City, Tyler Black defeated Roderick Strong to retain the ROH World Title. Also on the card, in a NYC Last Man Standing Death Match, Kevin Steen defeated Colt Cabana.
