One of the most shocking moments of 2018 came when Roman Reigns announced that his leukemia had returned. Most fans weren’t even aware of the fact that Reigns had previously beaten the disease, but it came back last year right when he was in the midst of his first reign as Universal Champion. Roman went on to relinquish the championship before vowing to defeat the leukemia and make his return to the ring as soon as possible. Over the past few months, Roman has not appeared on WWE programming at all. Some updates from WWE Superstars and photos of Reigns making public appearances have indicated that he seems to be in good health, but it has just been announced that he will be on Raw this Monday night.
WWE alerted fans earlier today that Roman Reigns will be appearing on Raw this week to address his condition and how he is feeling right now. Vince McMahon stated that Reigns will be coming on to update fans on his battle with leukemia. As of this week, there have been no updates on how Reigns’ health has been, but he did recently thank fans on social media for their words of encouragement. Roman Reigns has not appeared on Raw ever since he announced that he would be leaving to fight the disease back in October of 2018. Roman Reigns is not the only surprise that WWE has in store for fans this upcoming Monday as the company has also confirmed that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair will be on the show as well.

A ton of former wrestlers and recognizable industry names joined WWE as backstage producers a couple of weeks ago. Among the most intriguing names who are now part of the company include Abyss, Sonjay Dutt, and WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett, all of whom made names for themselves in TNA/Impact Wrestling for years. These individuals began their new jobs with WWE this week, but WWE has just uploaded short interviews with each new producer on their YouTube channel. Abyss, Dutt, and Jarrett each talked about joining the company and what they look forward to doing in WWE. There are also interviews from former WWE Superstars Shane Helms and Shawn Daivari, who were also brought back as producers not too long ago as well.
