WWE has decided to announce some of the matches and key segments that will be taking place during the upcoming episode of SmackDown. With the Superstar Shakeup now out of the way, the time for roster changes has come to an end while the time for new rivalries and storylines has only just begun. During the show this Tuesday night, SmackDown and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will be in action. “The Man” will take on fellow Horsewoman Bayley in a non-title match. This match will also mar the first time that the two of them have wrestled each other since joining WWE’s main roster. Bayley has wanted a match against Lynch for a while now, and the two have been feuding on Twitter all week long.

You not winning on #SDLive really raised my ire a lot inside my body. Let’s have a rough match of wrestling soon, where I hope I don’t hurt your feelings in the buildup. K? Bye.

Would love to. And I wouldn’t worry about “hurting my feelings”….especially over Twitter ??????. Let’s just hope I don’t hurt your chances of retaining at MITB. https://t.co/A1SjO8eQdb

Becky Lynch vs. Bayley is not all that has been announced for SmackDown this Tuesday night. It has also been confirmed that WWE Champion Kofi Kingston will be taking part in an interview. On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Kevin Owens betrayed Kingston and Xavier Woods, and he has made it clear that he now has his sights set on Kingston’s title. Kingston and Woods made Owens an honorary member of The New Day following Big E’s injury. However, it was all an elaborate ruse on “Big O’s” part, and he and Kingston will likely be doing battle at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in May. Before that happens, Kingston will have the chance to comment on Owens’ attack during SmackDown in few more days.
What will @TrueKofi have to say about @FightOwensFight‘s betrayal? Find out this Tuesday on #SDLive. https://t.co/YOBQP06hg0

Ever since All Elite Wrestling was announced earlier this year, fans have been eager to find out which wrestler will be joining the upstart promotion. It’s even been speculated that some of WWE’s recently departed wrestlers may find their way into AEW at some point in the future. However, WWE is not losing their roster members without a fight. According to Jim Ross during Busted Open Radio, WWE was able to convince one of their wrestlers to sign a $500,000 per year contract upon learning that he was interested in joining AEW. Ross did not reveal who the person is question is, but he did note that they are currently an undercard performer in WWE. Ross speculates that WWE re-signed this person so that he would remain exclusive to them.
“During a meeting, I asked about one guy in WWE who’s an undercard guy. Been there a while, solid hand, could help the younger guys because he’s at that age, you know., early 30s, and they said he’s not available. He just signed for half-a-million dollars with WWE. He’s not even on television. 500K Bubba, just to keep him off the streets so to speak.” Ross said.
