L’Équipe report that Bayer Leverkusen have met with Barcelona representatives about signing French teenage central defender Jean-Clair Todibo.
The German side already wanted the player before he joined the Catalan giants earlier this year from Toulouse.
The outlet adds that Todibo has not taken a firm decision on his future yet, but that Watford, Monaco and Southampton have also registered an interest in signing him next month.
Barcelona don’t appear to have taken a position on Todibo’s situation either, with L’Équipe claiming that Ernesto Valverde holds the player in high regard.
Although RMC reported yesterday that AC Milan had failed in an attempt to sign Todibo, L’Équipe believe that the Serie A side remain in the race.
At the moment, Todibo is leaning towards remaining with Barcelona, but a firm decision has not been taken.
