There have already been quite a large number of deaths in the world of pro wrestling, such as Bruno Sammartino and Johnny Valiant, but it was recently reported that Chuck “Rockin’ Rebel’ Williams passed away earlier this week. He mostly competed on the independent wrestling circuit but he most famously competed in Tri-State Wrestling/Eastern Championship Wrestling. It was revealed that he passed away earlier this week at only 52 years of age. Although it was definitely tragic to learn about the passing of Williams, recently released details on what may have led to his death has managed to completely shock fans and acquaintances of the former pro wrestler.
After his death was initially reported, it was later stated that Philadelphia police were looking further into the matter and believe that Williams was part of a murder-suicide. Authorities noted that both Williams and his wife were both found dead in their home earlier this week, but they were still investigating the circumstances surrounding both of their sudden deaths. It was noted that there were no suspects in mind who may have been responsible, leading to the possibility of a murder-suicide being discussed. Neighbors informed the police that the former wrestler and his wife had always kept to themselves and did not have much of a history of being violent or disruptive in the area.
Unfortunately, a sad new update on the investigation has just been provided. Courtesy of PWInsider, the West Goshen Township Police Department in Pennsylvania has once again confirmed that Williams and his wife did indeed die in their West Chester home earlier in the week. The investigation has led to the belief that William shot his wife dead before ultimately shooting and killing himself. There is still no news or updates on what may have led to Williams’ decision.
