Si ses fans ont l’habitude de la voir poser à demi-nue, le visage placardé de paillettes dans ses nombreux clips, la chanteuse californienne à l’origine du titre I kissed a girl, a cette fois mis en place une idée loufoque pour faire encore parler d’elle. Mais pas seulement. Car si elle a décidé de dévoiler son corps sur internet, ce n’est pas seulement pour servir la cause de la musique mais bien pour soutenir le programme d’une politicienne d’envergure : Hillary Clinton.
Pour cela, l’actuelle compagne d’Orlando Bloom a posté un cliché d’elle sur Instagram qui dévoile clairement le parti pour lequel elle souhaite voter. La belle brune de 31 ans mettra donc son enveloppe dans l’urne pour soutenir Hillary Clinton et son programme d’éducation. Pour attirer l’attention de ses auditeurs comme de ses followers Instagram, elle a donc décidé de poser sans ses vêtements devant le drapeau des Etats-Unis, en légendant le cliché par « Demain, Katy Perry vote nue.”, rapporte The Entertainment Week. La photo n’est pas passée inaperçue car elle a été visionnée par ses quelques 93 000 fans. Elle a également suscité 5000 commentaires. “Demain j’utiliserai mon corps comme appât à clics pour changer le monde”, s’est justifiée la jeune femme à propos de cette action. On ignore à ce jour si l’interprète pop rock se rendra au bureau de vote en tenue légère mais le « coup de com’ » semble fonctionner. Certains ont été surpris par sa fantaisie, d’autres en revanche se sont moqués de l’initiative, en lui répondant : « Trump sera président »…
Il y a huit mois, la jeune femme avait déjà montré son intérêt pour Hillary Clinton en lui témoignant son soutien par divers moyens. Elle s’était non seulement servie des réseaux sociaux mais s’était aussi rendue auprès de la politicienne pour se prendre en photo avec elle. Un peu comme elle l’avait déjà fait en juillet 2015 avec le mari d’Hillary, Bill Clinton. Ils avaient tous deux posé sur une photo lors du gala annuel Starkey Hearing Foundation’s .
Si les deux femmes ne sont pas vraiment des amies, Katy Perry a même pris l’initiative de lui souhaiter un bel anniversaire. « Joyeux anniversaire à notre grande future leadeuse » , avait-elle alors écrit pleine d’enthousiasme.
Enfin, en juillet 2016, Katy Perry lui avait dédié un concert. Un événement au cours duquel elle avait exprimé son point de vue à la foule. « Je ne voterai pas pour elle car elle est une femme, je vais voter pour elle car elle est la bonne personne pour le job ».

What I heard and experienced this weekend empowers me to believe that real change is possible and on the way! Ladies! There are so many incredible opportunities for us that are possible: equal pay, paid leave (you don't lose your job if you want to have a family) and YOUR choice to have a family when and if it's RIGHT FOR YOU! These are just some of the reasons I am standing with her and will continue to do so. Next year's election is one of the most important ones in decades, and the choices we make will have a profound effect on women for years to come. So, I stand with her for my daughters and their daughters, and beyond what time gives me. Get informed, get involved and become empowered!
