WWE NXT Preview (10/24): Aleister Black Is Back, But What Now?

Aleister Black’s shocking return produced questions that need answers. Plus, NXT General Manager William Regal readies a major announcement for TakeOver: WarGames, involving the coveted NXT Championship.
The Aftermath Of Aleister Black’s Surprise Return:
Last week, The NXT Universe was sent into a frenzy after former NXT Champion Aleister Black emerged out of the unfathomable darkness, sitting cross-legged in the center of the ring and seeking answers from Nikki Cross. Judging by the rage that fumed from his eyes after Cross whispered something in his ear, The Dutch Destroyer will be out for more than just a “welcome back” greeting the next time he steps into Full Sail Live. The remaining question, though, is who does Black have his eyes set on?

Major NXT Championship Announcement For TakeOver: WarGames:
As revealed last week, NXT General Manager William Regal is set to unveil plans for The NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: WarGames, which returns Saturday, Nov. 17th, at The STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
While the wait ensues, one must wonder what is unraveling in the mind of NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa. The self-proclaimed Greatest Sports-Entertainer of All Time is already fighting off rumors of his involvement in The Aleister Black attack and a series of outlandish insults from Velveteen Dream. Now, he readies to hear Regal’s announcement regarding his NXT Title. What should Ciampa and The NXT Universe expect to hear from the brand’s top authority figure, just one month before TakeOver: WarGames?
Mia Yim Makes Her NXT Debut:

Hard work pays off. Just ask Mia Yim, who earned an NXT contract from WWE COO Triple H after a strong performance in The 2018 Mae Young Classic. Following her epic matchup with Toni Storm last week in the Quarterfinals, The Blasian Baddie now has her eyes set on adding to the black-and-yellow brand’s hall of memorable debuts when she takes on the sly and “sincerely spoiled” Aliyah. Will Yim’s arsenal of strikes and submissions be enough to outlast The Cat’s Meow? See what all the hype is about when Mia Yim steps between the yellow ropes for the first time as an NXT Superstar.
What’s Next For Undisputed ERA?
After denying The War Raiders an NXT Tag Team Title victory — thanks to a chair-swinging (and fully healed) Bobby Fish and interference by Adam Cole — The Undisputed ERA remain the flag-bearers of NXT’s Tag Team division. Within the past month, The ERA ran NXT amuck by way of heinous actions like spoiling the brand’s first-ever Champion vs. Champion Match between Ricochet & Pete Dunne. Now as they continue to maintain their stronghold on The NXT Tag Team Titles, as well as return to full force with the returning Fish, what’s next for The Undisputed ERA? Will their reign of terror over the black-and-yellow brand continue? Find out tonight when NXT streams exclusively on the award-winning WWE Network.
