Interesting AJ Styles/Rumble Note

AJ Styles is set to defend the WWE Championship this Sunday at the Royal Rumble against both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in an unorthodox 2-on-1 handicap title match.

An interesting note about the “Phenomenal One”, as this is his third consecutive appearance at a Rumble pay-per-view after debuting at the 2016 edition. In all three of his appearances thus far, Styles has been involved in a match for the WWE Championship, first in the 2016 Rumble which was contested for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the time, and then in 2017 where he defended against John Cena in what might have been the year’s best match for the company.

Nia Jax Endorses Drew Gulak

WWE Raw Superstar Nia Jax is continuing to throw her support behind 205 Live’s resident politician Drew Gulak, as the popular Cruiserweight campaigns for a “better 205 Live” or “Drewtopia,” as he calls it.

Nia will be a part of this weekend’s historic Women’s Royal Rumble match, but last weekend spent a bit of time with the Cruiserweight division as the special guest referee for their exclusive set of live events. She was also romantically linked with Enzo Amore prior to him being fired on Tuesday afternoon for allegations of rape and sexual misconduct, so there’s been a ton of online speculation that WWE may want to partner Jax up with a new boy toy.

Apparently Goldust, who was recently pairing up with Cedric Alexander on episodes of WWE Raw, disagrees with the idea of Gulak leading the 205 Live brand…
