It was recently announced that WWE had signed four major names from the independent wrestling scene: Ricochet, Candice LeRae and former IWGP Tag Team Champions Hanson and Raymond Rowe (aka War Machine).

We noted earlier tonight that War Machine made a surprise appearance ringside at NXT Takeover: Philadelphia and received a tremendous reaction from the crowd. The high-flying sensation and former PWG Champion Ricochet also appeared later on in the show, and was actually announced as Trevor “Ricochet” Mann, indicating that WWE may be thinking about changing up his name.

Furthermore, while her presence wasn’t specifically pointed out by announcers on the show, Candice LeRae also got some screen time at NXT Takeover in a brief backstage segment with Johnny Gargano’s entire family. Gargano, who is legitimately married to Candice, will be facing off against Andrade Cien Almas for the NXT Championship in the main event of Saturday night’s show.
