John Cena Provides Comment On Break-Up With Nikki Bella, How Did The Rock & Cena’s Movies Fare At Box Office?

Both The Rock and John Cena have brand new movies out with “Rampage” and “Blockers” respectively, but how did they both fair at the box office this week?

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s “Rampage” movie managed to just squeeze past “A Quiet Place” to earn the top spot in the movies opening weekend in the US market, making $34.5 million. The movie hasn’t quite reached huge levels of financial success, but it is doing well, earning $114 million so far internationally since its release.

It hasn’t all been bad news for John Cena to start the week after announcing his split from Nikki Bella, as his movie “Blockers” has held at number five in the U.S. box office, earning $26 million domestically in its opening week. The movie has also earned $16 million from international markets meaning it has made its budget back, plus extra, which is good news for Cena who continues to prove himself to be a success in Hollywood.

John Cena Provides Comments On Nikki Bella Split

Whilst John Cena posted a cryptic Instagram post relating to the news that he was breaking up with John Cena, which claimed it was the worst day ever, Cena has since given his first actual response to the announcement.

After a statement was revealed by USA Weekly, John Cena has given his thoughts on the situation via Twitter, much like Nikki Bella did herself. Cena stated that hardship, loss, and humility are tough waters to navigate, but perseverance builds a strength to deal with anything life throws at you.
