Title vs. career stipulation added to Aldis vs. Murdoch NWA title match

A title vs. career stipulation has been added to the NWA World title match between Nick Aldis vs. Trevor Murdoch at the Sunday, August 29th NWA 73 pay-per-view.

Murdoch has failed to capture the title from Aldis on two separate occasions. His first chance came at June’s When Our Shadows Fall where he was disqualified after Aldis made it look like he used a chair on the referee. After losing to Aldis in a rematch at The Gathering II last month, Murdoch made another challenge and agreed to retire if he couldn’t beat Aldis.

Although this happened a few weeks ago, the promo aired last night on a special preview episode of NWA Power.

The 40-year-old Murdoch has been wrestling for 23 years and has spent time in WWE, TNA, Pro Wrestling NOAH and NWA.
