Yesterday was March 16th, and we take that day, otherwise known as 3/16 to celebrate arguably the greatest to ever be in the squared circle, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Some will say that others had more in-ring ability than him, such as Shawn Michaels, which could be true. Others will argue that superstars like The Rock or Ric Flair had more charisma than him, which could also be true. But Austin had this innate ability to tie it all together and connect with the fans in a way that hadn’t been done since Hulk Hogan.

All of this in the biggest time of wrestling and the WWE, in perhaps the most legendary talent pool of Shawn Michaels, The Rock, Triple H, The Undertaker, Mick Foley, and others, Stone Cold’s star shined the brightest. He was undeniably selling out arenas and credited for taking a nationwide company and making it global. He is a man that most people will have on their Mount Rushmore of wrestling (a debate for another day), and with all that in mind, in the wake of 3/16, we count down the top five best moments of the rattlesnake, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
