Ligue 1 side Angers on Thursday announced the signing of 20-year-old Cameroonian international central defender Blondon Meyapya.

This represents the player’s first European club, having played exclusively in his native country up until this point in his career – he has joined Le SCO on a 4-year contract.

He captained the Cameroonian U20s at the recent youth AFCON tournament.
