Seth Rollins Reportedly Pulled From WWE RAW Segments; Not Currently Cleared To Compete

As previously reported, Seth Rollins has been kept away from the ring for several weeks now as he heals up from a nagging back injury. His last match came the night after winning the 2019 Royal Rumble, defeating Dean Ambrose.

According to Dave Meltzer via Wrestling Observer Radio, Rollins was scheduled to be in action on this week’s episode of WWE RAW and was actually “all over” the original script for the show, in order to build him up for the upcoming WrestleMania main event against Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

While Rollins’ back injury does not require surgery, and he simply needs more time to rest up, the thought was they could still use him at any point if they really needed to. However, when the Kingslayer showed up to the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA this Monday night for RAW, he was in fact NOT cleared by the WWE medical team, forcing Vince McMahon and the team to completely re-write the script at the last minute.
