Update On Plans For WrestleMania 32 Matches: Lesnar & Undertaker Matches

In addition to the Triple H vs. Roman Reigns match, which as we reported on Wednesday night is penciled in right now as the planned main event for WrestleMania 32 this year, WWE has an internal card finalized for this year’s show.

Under the HHH-Reigns match as the other top matches appears to be The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar matches. The two will be working individual matches against top heels, although it’s possible in Lesnar’s case for him to be matched up with another babyface if it makes for a better program. If WWE decides to go that route, it will not be against Reigns or Undertaker.

If John Cena is somehow able to return in time for the show, which is not at all expected, he could end up in the spot against Undertaker. Prior to Cena going down with an injury, the plan was for he and Undertaker to do a “Battle of Legends” match. Because WWE didn’t expect a serious Cena injury, they had no backup opponent in mind for The Undertaker.

WrestleMania 32 takes place on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
